Taking in the Sites

You could say we are 15mins to everywhere... No matter the season there some great Day Trips to enjoy.  Here are few of favorites:
Around Ston(e)Y Lake - follow Hwy 28 North through the village of Woodview, Turning on Cty Rd 56 as it hugs the North Shore of the Lake, continue onto Cty Rd 6 , ensuring to turn off onto the little side roads that lead to the South Shore of Stoney - travelling Birchview Rd through to Young's Point returning on Highway 28 North.

Adventure Seeking

If you are looking for an outdoor adventure -look no further.  Minutes from our front door is many unique opportunities waiting to be explored.

Bicycling - as part of the Ontario Bike Network check out these great routes to explore

Hiking - the Kawartha Highlands Signature Site, Petroglyph park and the Kawartha Land Trust Stony Lake Trails, all provide unique and great hiking experiences.

Paddling - The shores of Stony are perfect for a day of paddling, pack a shore lunch and enjoy a stop along the way at Juniper Island.
Spelunking - Yes, Ontairo does have Caves and we have a great example of those just 20 mins from the Inn at the Warsaw Conservation Site
Nordic Skiing & Snowshoeing - just minutes from the Inn is the world class Kawartha Nordic Ski Trails,  With both track & skate ski trails this is a wonderful facility.  Day passes, Rentals are all available.
