BETTY BAKER
Betty Baker is a conceptual, campy, costume designer, drag daughter of Sahira Q, and Peterborough/Nogojiawanong, Ontario’s premiere Drag Storyteller. She has received national attention for her Drag Storytimes, with the subsequent protests, and even larger counter-protests in support of them, at the Peterborough Public Library since 2022

She was recognized in 2023 as one of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough’s Rebels With A Cause and is currently studying Performance Production at Toronto Metropolitan University. Aside from being one of the most protested Drag Performers in Canada, Betty has a passion for reading gender/queer/feminist theory, songwriting, and reminding everyone that Carly Rae Jepsen has the most consistent discography in pop music
